Ann-Maree Long is a proud Badtjala, Woppaburra and Torres Strait Islander woman and Program Manager for CareerTrackers High School Programs and the National Coordinator for the Young Indigenous Women in STEM Academy.
Ann-Maree is a Creative Industries graduate of QUT and loves her role in supporting young First Nations students to determine what their dream career could look like. In April, Ann-Maree was a mentor on the International Ocean Discovery Program's JR Academy experience alongside Professors, Scientists and artists, sailing from Naples to Amsterdam. This Program had a focus to support Indigenous students from across the world in the integration of Indigenous science knowledge to western science principles.
As the first in her family to complete high school, she values the power of education, mentorship, and her connection to community.
