Michael Hopkin

Michael Hopkin is the Chief of Staff at The Conversation Australia + NZ. He is an accomplished science and environment journalist with more than 20 years' experience as a reporter, broadcaster and editor. Based in Perth, Michael joined The Conversation after several years as a journalist with the former Fairfax newspapers, The West Australian and others, and has also appeared as a science commentator for the BBC, CNN and The Guardian. Before moving to Australia from his native UK, he was a senior news and features writer for Nature.
