Wilson da Silva is a science journalist best known as the co-founder and long-time editor of COSMOS magazine. He's also been a reporter/producer for the ABC TV Science Unit, science news editor of ABC Online and a staff journalist on The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. His work has been recognised with several accolades, including the AFI Award for Best Documentary, the Human Rights Media Award and two Editor of the Year trophies for COSMOS. He is a past president of Australian Science Communicators, the World Federation of Science Journalists, and his stories are featured in The Best Australian Science Writing anthologies of 2012, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2021.
