Ms Ali McGregor

Ali McGregor has over 15 years’ experience in science communication. She has performed science shows, engaged people in inquiry-based demonstrations, facilitated STEM workshops, and presented teacher professional learning for thousands of people across Australia.

Ali eschewed science for theatre in high school, thinking that STEM was ‘boring’ and ‘not for her’. Engaging in science communication helped Ali recognise the creativity and beauty in STEM, reigniting her interest. Since then, she has become passionate about engaging everyone with science, regardless of their background.

Ali is currently studying a Bachelor of Zoology at the University of New England. She welcomes any and all discussion about animals, especially insects.
