Ms Pete Gooda
(she/her)
CSIRO
Pete is a proud Ghungulu woman from Central Queensland who recently joined CSIRO as the Indigenous Land Use Agreement Manager (ILUA), SKA & Site Entity for Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Radio-astronomy Observatory. With over 10 years experience in the native title and agreement implementation space, she has spent time with Traditional Owner communities and organisations throughout the Pilbara and East Kimberley. Pete is an advocate for Indigenous self-determination through native title and believes early engagement with Traditional Custodians is the key to achieve success for any infrastructure project. She is delighted to be working alongside the Wajarri Yamaji People and looks forward to learning their stories while navigating the complexities of constructing one of Australia's biggest science projects.
