Strategic Engagement Director, The Western Australian Biodiversity Science Institute (WABSI)

Preeti has more than 25 years’ experience in strategic communications and engagement across science, technology and financial services. In her role at WABSI, Preeti leads engagement and communications strategies to build trusted partnerships and inform end user driven biodiversity science research. Preeti's previous experience includes senior roles across business, non-profits, a secondment with the Department of Premier and Cabinet WA and the establishment of a niche consulting firm, assisting companies in resources, science and technology to successfully engage target stakeholders. Preeti is on the Australian Science Communicators’ National Council and on the Board of the Society for Ecological Restoration Australasia. Preeti is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an M.B.A.
