Professor Tim Colmer

Professor Tim Colmer has had a long association with UWA, holding various leadership roles. He is

currently Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor. As a member of the UWA Executive Team, Tim provides

leadership and management of the UWA College of Schools, working collaboratively to ensure

alignment of resources and academic initiatives in the delivery of the University's strategic plan.

Tim works across disciplines to enhance UWA’s research outcomes - supporting research

infrastructure, collaborative institutes and many partnerships across industry, government, non-

profit organisations and the wider community. Tim’s portfolio of expertise includes strategy and

policy development, postgraduate education, research infrastructure, industry liaison, intellectual

property and commercialisation. Tim is a Board Member of Harry Perkins Institute of Medical

Research.
