Mr Pete Wheeler

Originally from Wales in the UK, I made the life-changing decision to relocate to Western Australia in 2002, marking the beginning of my journey at Scitech—Perth’s leading science discovery centre.

With Scitech, I took on a variety of roles that revolved around the development of educational resources tailored for WA teachers, the management of Perth's trailblazing planetarium, and the coordination of state-wide educational and outreach initiatives. These positions, fuelled by my passion for science and astronomy, eventually paved the way for a role overseeing outreach and communications at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR)—a collaborative venture between Curtin University and The University of Western Australia.

Today, I bring my experience and diverse skill set to the White Spark Pictures team—a pioneering production company known for its factual and immersive content creation.

In addition to my professional accomplishments, I hold degrees in physics, education, and strategic communications, and I'm currently pursuing an MBA with Edith Cowan University.
